Color for The People

Brief

The color department needed new promotional material for the new color roster and their portfolio of work.

The objective of the new color reel was twofold: to showcase the latest and greatest work from The Mill's global roster of 10 colorists, and to create excitement around the department's new era of color. To achieve this, we needed a track that would not only complement the selection of work chosen but also help tell a cohesive story, both visually and sonically. By doing so, the reel would offer viewers an immersive experience that truly captures the essence of The Mill's vision for color.

Approach

Created a 90-second montage, edited by Al Benoit, boasting the depth of work from the color grading department using the licensed track “The People” by electronic artist Photay.
